Expected to appear in the Elite Men's events are Nino Schurter, Tom Pidcock, and Mathieu van der Poel, who is back in action having ended his Spring road season early to begin preparations for the 2021 Summer Olympics. On the Elite Women's side, two former world champs: Kate Courtney and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot are expected to start ("PFP" also holds a previous cyclocross world championship, as well!)
