KMC X10.93 Chain

RideCX suggests the KMC X10.93 chain for 10 speed cyclocross and gravel bikes because: 

• It offers high-performance, but is inexpensive enough that you can carry a spare to the races "just in case". It doesn't make sense to use top-end chains for 'cross, because even the best chains wear quickly in cyclocross
• Highly-compatible design works for all brands 10-speed drivetrains - Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo
• Includes a master link, making installation and removal for cleaning a snap

This chain comes with 116 links, long enough for any cyclocross, gravel, touring etc. bike (except tandems) and is an attractive shiny silver color. Claimed 273 grams. 

Cyclocross can really do a number on your bike's drivetrain, in particular the chain. If you race in wet / muddy conditions, it's a good idea to have 2 chains - one on the bike, and one being cleaned. Post-race, swap the two - the master link used with and included with KMC chains makes this very easy.
